We Found Hip Hop Retreat

In September of 2019, We Found Hip Hop, an organization dedicated to celebrating women in hip hop, is hosting a retreat for women hip hop in Idlewood, MI. We Found Hip Hop’s mission is:

“Our mission is to educate and empower the community through sharing love of the arts, inspiring growth, building leadership, and influencing the perceptions and roles of women in hip hop for current and future generations.”

They describe the event, which takes place from September of 6th to 8th, as follows:

“If you are an Artist, Musician, Writer, Dancer, Creative, work in the Arts and Culture or Entertainment business and want to connect with others. This retreat is intended to uplift your mind, body, and spirit ending the summer and harnessing that energy to enter the fall ready for all of the wonderful opportunities awaiting you.
