Killboy Kicks Off Our New Series

Even in the midst of a quarantine/ pandemic, creatives still find a way to create. In our newest Youtube series we are bringing back the nostalgia of “MTV Cribs” with a new twist, “Studio Cribs: Quarantine Edition”! Over the next several weeks, this series will highlight, and maybe even introduce you, to some of the industry’s hottest emerging female music producers. These inspiring ladies will discuss all things music, musical inspiration, their creative process, give a tour of their cribs, and most importantly show off their super dope in-home studios!

Yesterday, the very first episode dropped starring super producer Killboy. Known for her hit single “I’ll Just F**k Myself”, Killyboy invited us into her amazing LA home, showing that while there may not be any furniture in her bedroom besides the bed, there is no lack of creativity in her state of the art home studio. Killboy showed off her magic-making-machines from the first guitar she received as a gift from her parents in 4th grade to her Focal Shape Twin speakers, which she says if you’re a producer and no one has told you about those speakers “they were trying to sabotage you”.
