Jennifer Decilveo Rises Up

by Natalie Sears

Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter Jennifer Decilveo hails from Los Angeles, and the music she produces is brimming with that smooth, charming California energy.

What we particularly admire about Jennifer Decilveo is how many female artists grace her discography. Her work with artists such as Anne Marie, Rae Morris, Beth Ditto, Rebecca Ferguson, Melanie Martinez, and Madison Beer has showcased her versatility and panache behind the music board.

Jennifer Decilveo received a Grammy nomination in 2016 for her production on Andra Day’s electrifying single “Rise Up” on her debut album Cheers to the Fall.

This song would go on to be an anthem of protest, solidarity, and empowerment in a precarious political climate. Day, following speeches by the mothers of Trayvon Martin and Sandra Bland, performed “Rise Up” at the Democratic National Convention in 2016.

We are excited to see what is in store for Jennifer Decilveo in the next coming years — we are expecting a bright and flourishing future for this powerhouse producer.
